Beautiful Tragedy

by Unseen Exposure   Jan 27, 2005

She was a beautiful tragedy
The girl that went awry
They see her day by day
But never see her cry

A tedious disaster
With a hint of glistened tears
Fading into an eclipse
That won't come back for years

A promiscuous beauty
Fallen lost among hate
A missing vitality of air
That filled her lungs too late

A neglected prisoner
Surrounded by walls of depression
Bars that keep in her pain
Like an ungodly broken obsession

She was a beautiful tragedy
That fell dead on earth's cold floor
She grabbed her chest in fury
But the ones around her ignored

She was a tedious disaster
And died in front of their gaze
They haven't noticed her yet
... And they won't know for days

They never really paid attention
To be honest, they didn't care
So maybe when they go calling
They'll wonder why she isn't there

A beautiful tragedy gone missing
I wonder if she made it past
The clouds, the stars, the moon
And made it to heaven at last.

^ oh my. not so good.

How can you say "oh my, not so good"?
    this was excellent. Darkly beautiful.
I absolutly loved the title alltogether. the line itself is beautiful and it ties in the story so well and with an added effect of beauty.
    I absolutly LOVE the lines,
    "A tedious disaster
With a hint of glistened tears
    Fading into an eclipse
That won't come back for years"
that stance was just absolutly lovely. Incredibly imagery and use of comparison. the whole piece was lovely, and I absolutly loved your main idea and the way you portrayed the neglect and ignorance of her loved ones.
    Excellent job, darkly lovely
