I close my eyes

Close my eyes, wish the pain away.
All these words in me, i cannot say.

Nowhere to hide my fears.
Inside of me is where i cry my tears.

Letting go is the hardest part,
I don't want to be left with another broken heart.

The pain cut through like shattered glass. Wishing i could change what happened in the past.

But i look towards the furture...and i don't see you. So i close my eyes once again, hoping the pain will not cut through.
