Make the right choice

A silent submission to the darkness within
Life from her grasp it does fall
To sit and watch is a crime I commit
As each day I do nothing at all

Her cries are much nearer to the end I once knew
To the power of ending the fight
To kill is to win, to let it be you is to prove
That nothing in life was ever right

I'm killing her by being; i’m loosing her by staying
I must make this decision at a cost
To stay and fight with her may only strenghthen
The walls that have kept her so lost

The choice is hers I can do nothing more
I’ve given all the knowledge I possess
To sit and to see what she makes of this time
Is more pain than even I can repress

I’ll always be there for the friend I once knew
I write this in mourning for my loss
If she makes the decision I know she can\'t fight
My life as I know it will stop.

Life as an entity will cease
For more than just my friend
The stars will dim and moon will fall
For me the world will end

Make the right choice
I know in your heart you want to live
