Searching Lost Hope

by Ð맆îñ¥   Jan 30, 2005

It’s a year to the day
I went astray
A year since I saw you
Realized my life is untrue

When life left me alone
Pushed me through the unknown
Left me reeling outside in the cold
Waiting for more pain to unfold

I still visit your grave
And long for your wave
I’ll never get over you; I’ll never find that love again
You left me on that lonely train

You left for some distant land
Some place where there’s sea and sand
And no way for me to understand
And it is on this side that I stand

I imagine a window but it’s like to a mirror
My side is blurred but yours is clear
I look back at myself as you stand so near
Our hands are touching and we share a tear
