Taken to young

by elizabeth   Jan 30, 2005

He was taken to young
because of one mistake
one bad decision
the last he would make

he was only 15
which is to young to die
he didn't get to live his life
i just wanted to cry

i feel so drained
i miss him so much
he was a good friend
i want to feel his touch

i long for tomorrow
when the pain has gone away
Can i go back to the times-
like yesterday?

The words won't come
i don't know what to do
all of us are hurting
i want to die too

my friends try to help
they don't know what to say
I've learned to talk to God
my comfort is to pray

but why was it him?
i guess I'll never know
she touched so many lives
she has so much love to show

Everyone loved him
and thought the fun would never end
no matter what happened
he always had time for a friend

I've come to know
that life isn't fair
But memories last forever
and those we'll forever share.

it's hard to lose someone, and 15 is such a young age.....my friend died at a close age aswell, 14, and it hurt so much....I'm so sorry for your loss.....but you expressed it very well in the poem......Hold your head high, you can make it.....
