4 months ago to this day,
you slipped away,
i've never felt so alone,
as when i was on the phone,
on your own you took the pills,
and then just slipped away.

I won't ever forget,
the memories that we shared,
whenever i close my eyes,
it's your face i see,
you said "I Love you",
then you slipped away.

I've never felt so sad,
not even when my gran died,
I Love you Aaron,
your always in my heart,
i wish i'd been there for your last breath,
as you slipped away.

    this poem was amazing, it brought tears to my eyes just reading it...i personally have not expirienced death...atleast none that has occured when i was old enough to remember the person. i am truly sorry for all those who have lost someone who they love, and even though i dont understand exactly what is going on, it still tears me up inside to know that people lose important people daily! just remember, that anyone taken away was taken because god had better plans for them...and may god be with you through it all...~Meg
