REAl dad

by jessica   Feb 1, 2005

I try to listen
I hear no sound
No laughter, no fright
Not even a heart beats pound

I’ve never lost someone I’ve loved
Never cherished the spirit of a dove
Never cared so much to show how much you meant
Never cared to mail back the love you sent

No a sound for a mile on
Everything’s been quiet since you been gone
Silence is now a virtue
But I hope that one-day ill get to show how much I loved you
Show you how much I care
And how much I will be there

But until then
Ill show you all the love I have
Because you were my REAL dad
