Needing You

by Kendra   Feb 2, 2005

She kneels at her bedside
Everynight and prays,
She wishes for things to get better
For each and everyday.

Her heart is torn
And she wants to say goodbye,
But she hasn't the guts to do it
But she can't keep living this lie.

Her eyes are misty and dry
As she sheds just one last tear,
For she'll never have him to hold
And never have him near.

She'll try to live her life
As normal as she can,
But she's still trying to find someone
Who'll safely hold her hand.

Until then she'll continue this
Praying beside her bed,
And keeping her feelings locked inside
Though not one more tear, shall be shed.
