Cloudy Images (The Timing of the Skies)

by Idiosyncratic   Feb 9, 2005

Cloudy images
of a perfect world
neverending thoughts
slowly unfurled

the rivers flowed with brilliance
now trickle much too slow
and the once powerful wind
now barely even blows

time freezes
and clouds over
not even the breezes
are felt below her

one day the sky
will be no longer
taken by clouds
as they slowly get stronger

what is now known as time
will neglect to exist
but we will not realize
and it will not be missed
