Taking You With Me

by Ð맆îñ¥   Feb 11, 2005

Back to the drawing board
Another day gone down the drain
Another meal to make trying to swallow my greed
Go back to the garden and plant a new seed

Another day brings a new flower
The old one dies
Tomorrow I meet you
Yesterday I said goodbye

Another bottle is smashed
Its thrust out from the wound you made yesterday
I’m still fighting

They’re watching me
Only they can’t help me, they don’t know what’s wrong with me
Only I know the word you stabbed me with
I’ve lost my love for life, for me

I’m going; any last words?
Maybe an ‘I’m sorry’ or a ‘You still look grand’
But you sit so silent; are you worried?
I doubt it. Come on take my hand
