Beaten As They Lay

by ((Allison))   Feb 12, 2005

Walking home from school today,
I saw a girl who could do nothing but lay.

Her legs were crushed by a hammer she told me.

On a sweet summer\'s day.

Her mom just got a littly angry,
Because she forgot to bathe.

I don\'t understand how people can be like this.

So full of hatred at one time,
Then full of love at another.

So, please, oh please, think about this and see if you can help.

Because I just cannot bear to see these children beaten as they lay.
