Life's Boat

by Todd   Feb 12, 2005

Escaping life
And it's pains at last
Sailing away
And trying fast

Too much has happened now
Too much too fast
Enough to question
The dead-end past

I know the truth
Of life's ripped mast
Leaving port
It feels times wrath

To tread new cotton
For life's new mast
Will take time
There's been a painful past

Erasing time
Removing the cast
Opening a new horizon
For life's new mast.

Loved it. The rhyming was excellent and message was so meaningful. Take care! :)
