Sad Valentine

Happy valentines day mom,
try not to look at the past;
Try to be calm and grateful,
and let your heart relax!

What happened on this day,
yes, I know was sad;
We will always love,
remember, and miss dad!

But lets look forward,
although its going to be hard;
Otherwise, all we’ll do is cry,
because our hearts are scarred!

We will always miss him,
there will be no doubt;
But for once lets look forward,
lets not sit and pout!

Lets keep our head up,
lets be happy too;
Because this is what,
he, would want us to do!
