It's all over

by SmileeItsBritt   Feb 14, 2005

Why cant you see that
My wings are torn and tattered
I'm broken up in pieces
My souls been ripped and battered
I lie here bleeding
In my crimson hell
You can try if you want
But I'm too lost to be helped
I've slipped on my mistakes
I'm lying on the ground
It's always never ending
I'm being spun around
At the neck I'm getting hanged
Hanged by my regrets
Gasping,Suffocating
A feeling I'll never forget
My body lies mangled
I couldn't take it anymore
I start to fade away
Another drop of blood hits the floor
It splashes so rhythmically
Just like the beating of my heart
It starts to slow down
My souls been ripped apart
Don't you cry
Don't you worry
It's all over now

I really admired this piece. I can relate pretty well, especially to this part ...
'At the neck I'm getting hanged
    Hanged by my regrets
    Gasping,Suffocating'
    A feeling I'll never forget"
... I wrote a poem called "The Rope Around My Neck" and those lines from your poem made me think back to it.
