Friend

You told me to write something for you,
so this is where I’ll start;
I think you’re a great friend,
this I mean from the bottom of my heart!

I think your cool,
and very sweet;
Talking with you,
is such a treat.

We can talk about anything,
we don’t really care;
There are a lot of things,
that together, we share.

I like you for who you are,
and that’s more than enough;
You don’t try to act cool,
your don’t try to act tough.

You are yourself,
and that’s what I like;
And we have lots in common,
we are alike.

You make me smile,
with the things you say;
I will always have love for you,
forever and a day.
