Why Can't I Forget You?

Why can't I forget you,
When your going far away,
Why do I keep wanting,
Keep wanting you to stay?

Why can't I forget you,
After you hurt me,
Tease me and call me names,
Will I ever be free?

Why can't I forget you,
When your with your girl?
It hurts me so bad,
My mind is in a whirl.

Why can't I forget you,
When all I do is sigh,
Wish this pain would dissapear,
All I do now is cry.

Why can't I forget you,
Something I wonder everyday,
Should I do something,
But what should I say?

Why can't I forget you,
I've finally found out why;
I can't stop loving you,
No matter how hard I try.

    You can't just stop loving someone...that definitely does not work. lol

    Nice write...I'm sure there are a lot of girls who will beable to relate to this poem as it happens to the best of us. You really pushed out your emotions and showed the love you held for him...the dirt bag...what ever you'd like me call him...lol

    The only thing I would suggest is to lose the commas and question marks as that can sometimes take away from the flow. Nothing serious...your poem, your call.

    I enjoyed it ...young love can be the best and the worst....nice write! :)
