The Wreck

by *--KenziePaige--*   Feb 17, 2005

From the precious creature blood drips
Flowing heavily from his wisp

There is nothing to do to keep him alive
If I could I would rewind the drive

The flashy lights coming closer to us
People gathering around with fuss

Thy head to his heart, still beating a surprise
More tears fall from thine burden eyes

I hold and kiss his hand, saying be strong
We’ll be together until not too long

Glass embedded in my arm, but I’ll be okay
I’m worried about him, on earth will he stay?

He is still in the hospital, lying in the cold bed
A half smile on his face, and only a scratch on his head.
