Our Last Goodbye

I look into her empty eyes
Io remember all of her empty lies
As the time comes to say goodbye
I lay a rose down by her side

I now see past her fake smile
I can’t forget her fake denial
Although there were the good times we shared
The time has come to say goodbye

Though all the anger I kept inside
Now comes along my tearful sigh
Because I’ll never see you again
And through the past, in you I would confide
Now my shell is broken
I have nowhere to hide

Instead of remembering all your lies
And your fake smile
I try and see all the good times
While I lay a rose down by your side
This will be our last goodbye
