Calypso

by hannah morgan   Feb 19, 2005

Calypso was a two-year-old gelding, who was loved by many people. On Sunday 23rd of September 01 his whole life was ruined. He was in a field with a mare and foal and he missed his other friends because he tried to climb a gate, he got his front feet over but he got his back legs tangled in between the bars. As all the people there saw him, they went outside but before they got to him the gatepost collapsed and the gate fell.

All his friends were there watching him and keeping him calm he was not in any pain because he was not crying or whinnying he had one of his back feet stuck so Brian cut the gate up and as soon as he was free they knew he had broken his fetlock so the vet came to put him down.

Calypso was a lovely horse and will be missed by many and will never be forgotten. He will be in the hearts of many people and everything will be different from now on. We will love you from now on and forever.

Bye,

LOVE YOU BABY BOY,

I promise I’ll never forget you,
Miss you always.

*in memory of my gorgeous horse if only he had not been so stupid, i cry a tear for you every 23rd of September, R.I.P my baby boy*
