I Remain to Think of You Parts 1 and 2 (Anytime, Anywhere)

by Aidyn   Feb 22, 2005

Part 1-->Anytime

Life begins to show once more
Through white snow comes green anew.
It's in this time amid Spring's prime
That I begin to think of you.

In crowns of trees so green and strong
The sky is shining through.
It's in this time 'neath bright sunshine
That I'm still thinking of you.

The leaves are now tinged orange and brown
And red and yellow show true
With beauty all around me
I remain to think of you.

In winter cold and barren
Memories tell of what once grew
In all the beauty that I recall
I still remember you.

Through the seasons I may wait
Until our dreams come true.
Until we meet again, my love,
I'll always think of you.

-------------------------------------------

Part 2-->Anywhere

I stand alone on a lonely hill
Where bluebirds one day flew.
Love is just as lonely, but
Still, I think of you.

I lie upon the banks and shores
Next to the ocean blue.
Though pure, and vast, and deep it can't
Come close to my love for you.

In a grove of shrubs and greenery
I see colours; different hues.
In this land of possibilities,
I cannot forget about you.

I walk among the hills and dunes
Of a desert 'neath the moon.
With such a lack of life and sound
I begin to long for you

I sit under the falling rain.
A coldness seems to soothe.
Every drop upon my face
Is like a kiss from you.

In the sun, a thing of light,
Fire burns and shines forth true.
I feel that burning in my heart
A burning that's for you.

Through the landscape's constant change
I witness beauty, and absence, too
Though however amazing it may seem,
It cannot compare to you.

Please read and treat this as TWO poems, and not one. As one full poem, they kind of lack continuity, and that's why I split them apart.
