Storm

by Ð맆îñ¥   Feb 22, 2005

Depraved winds roar though the shutters
Harmful vile noises it sputters
Around each sail comes a frightening wail
Steps from its cover to its whipping veil
Whistles through each rise and fall
Catches each soul and captures it all
All of the buildings rattle away
Leaving each person through come what may
Snow bustles forwards, shattered by rain
Whispers the threats and strengthens the strain
Races the clutter through unsightly streets
Delivering the muddle as unwanted treats
Finding one more, someone else to flurry
Passing another waiting, it gets ready to bury
Laughing at its power as it rounds off the street
Waiting for the world to come forward and meet
The power one to one and in combat fall
Catches its soul and devours it all
