Just Another Star

When the sun goes down I close my eyes.
I hold on to my world and start to cry.
I silently pray and wish on all the stars.
I dream empty dreams, alone in the dark.
I see all my scars with my eyes closed tight.
I know its impossible to make things right.
For being so young I feel things so strong.
Its hard trying to fit in when you know you don't belong.
And when I feel like giving up, I tell myself to try.
Its useless though, because in the end I know I'll cry.
I can't be like them, because then I'd be fake.
I can only be me, but thats too hard to take.
So when the daylight disappears, I'll close my eyes.
I will fade into nothing, just another star in the sky.
Like all the other's out there, with the empty worlds.
I'll be just another star; just another broken girl.
