Her life

by ♥~Sªήdяª~♥   Feb 23, 2005

I knew something was wrong
I couldn't figure it out
No one ever knew
What her life was ever about

Her dad beat her and her sister
Until he left them
She hates her mom
And she hates him

Her mom is a drunk
She never comes home
She said she was at work
But she was out getting stoned

Her sister gets straight A's
While she gets C's and B's
Her sister is captain of her team
When her no one sees

She waits after school
She doesn't want to go
She likes it there better
She seems happy, but know one knows

She has her moments
When everything goes bad
Where it seems like everythings wrong
She gets so mad

She goes home
and looks in a mirror
She wishes for once
Someone would here her

She crys for hours
She plans out her death
But she never has the strength
To take her last breath

It seems things get worse
But it's all in her mind
She feels so lost
Herself she must find

She sees everyone so happy
They seem so careless
She feels so small
She feels so useless

Until one day you came along
You helped her through
You found things out
that no one ever knew

You two became close
You became the best of friends
You said that your friendship
Would never ever end

She was so happy
She felt like she belonged
But all of that changed
Not before long

She was walking to school
Just her and you
Then a drunk driver
Came out of the blue

He swerved and missed you
but hit her instead
Now she is gone
forever dead

We all miss her
But she wouldn't want us to cry
We are gathered here today
To say good-bye
