Sweet Dreamers

by Kendra   Feb 24, 2005

Two little girls dancing in the rain.
This is what they do to get rid of their pain.
Skipping and laughing and having fun,
All day long, waiting for the setting sun.

Once the sun goes down
And all the stars are shining bright,
They say their prayers
And say goodnight.

Sweet innocent angels
Sleeping comfortably in their beds,
All the memories from today,
dancing in their heads.

These little girls have such big dreams.
It's all smiles, no longer screams.
One more memory made.
Forever lasting, never to fade.

My best friend, Katie, and I wrote this poem together.
