I Belong With You

Everytime I try to forget
All of the memories of you
It's like I can never really forget
Because that would mean we're really through

I know that you're gone
And I won't see you for awhile
But I really hope you'll wait for me
Because that would make me smile

I don't think I'm ready
To fully give you up
I gave you everything
My heart, my soul, my trust

Why did you have to drink and drive?
Why were you so dumb?
The pain of losing you is so strong
I wish my feelings were numb

Just wait for me in Heaven
Because it won't be long
Before I'm up there with you
Because with you is where I belong.
