Passing time is not enough
To dampen such a light
As I have seen in you,
A beacon of love so bright.

Though you be afar I know
I often think of you.
Your memory is always fresh
Within my mind, it's true.

Now I hope once in a while
I yet cross your mind,
Though time can dull anything,
Given enough time.

Here's to you on such a day
