Candy Land Dreams

by Erica Taylor   Mar 1, 2005

Wishing a lollipop
would wisp me away
sing in the fall
where the leaf's all lay

eat a chocolate
in the month of may
jump in a bucket
filled with smooth hay

open my eyes
to glitter in spring
dance on white flowers
and dance with a fling

walk around a giant candy cane
dance in the hot sand
drink coconut rum
and fly a plane and land

fill up my cup
with sparkling blue
run though bushes
filled with Reese's piece's too

most of all i want to sit
stare at the sky
in complete bliss
as the diamonds shoot by

thank the lord
for all that i have
drink a glass of strawberry jam
and lay in warm sand

rolled up in the fluffy clouds
sprinkled with fairy dust
rolling around in velvet chocolate
i wish it all happened to us
