Water Angel

I’m a water angel
Swimming through the rain
You’ve met a water angel
And you’ll never be the same

Walking, walking though the air
Ripples we leave are left behind
Tears that we cry
Tears I cry for you

Tears I make and make it better
Drift along my rivers
You’re calling me and I’m calling you
Hoping our love, just one time is true

Listen to the patter of footsteps on the panes
Look at my footprints on the glass
See the world I cast about me
Look at the water I give to the tree

Your roots are deep, digging each day
Burrowing into our past
Think about your angel, to the past look not
Make for the sky, I’ll help you climb

    It was a good poem, i thought it was a metaphore, you should have put it under the love section it would have been a great deal better. i think that it is lacking something...

    None the less i think that your a wonderful aspering poet and you should continue to write.
