He Told Her

by Heather   Mar 5, 2005

He told her that he loved her,
he told her that he cared,
he told her that he'd be there,
whenever she felt scared.

he told her that he'd stay with her,
he told her he'd hear her call,
he told her he'd stand behind her,
and always catch her fall.

he told her not to harm herself,
he told her not to slide the blade,
he told her it wasn't cool,
what she did that day.

he told her the day would come to night,
and that she'd still be alive,
and no matter how hard she tried,
she did not succed committing suicide.

he told her he'd still be there,
whenever she needed to talk,
now of all the drugs she's got,
she's unable to walk.

he told her she'd f**k up,
that she would not succeed,
that no matter how many times she cut,
that she would always bleed.
