Life Is What You Make It?

by Emzie   Mar 6, 2005

Life is what you make it?
I did not choose to cry,
I never wished each night,
That I could just simply die.

Life is what you make it?
I did not choose my brother's death,
I never wished his tortured soul,
To be put to rest.

Life is what you make it?
I did not choose to use my knife,
I never wanted to self-harm,
To cut away my life.

Life is what you make it?
I did not choose my broken home,
I never wanted my parents to split,
To leave me all alone.

Life is what you make it?
I did not choose to hate myself,
I never wanted to self-loathe so much,
To hate myself like hell.

Life is what you make it?
I wish this could be true,
If life what what you made it,
I'd be happy, just like you.
