I close my eyes and there you are,
a beaming ray of light.
You're surrounded by the brightest star,
burning long into the night.

I see you there with wings so free,
stretched out and ready to fly.
Ready to soar beyond the sea,
reaching that wondrous world so high.

I reach out and touch your velvet skin,
and feel my heart beat race.
The memories I hold deep within,
as you fly to that holy place.

So as I open up my eyes,
and the image of you fades away.
I know you're there taking to the skies,
In my memory you will always stay.

    Wow, see that's what i like to read, i think relating poetry with the nature is the most beautiful way to express true emotion. And you do it so well! I believe the ones i did that are most like these are heavens perfect sonnet and weather patterns. keep up the good work, much love, johnny
