Autumn Blue

Shades of color bursting out
My life and future is in doubt
Colors pristine right before death
Why do we enjoy this tragic dance

Colors shimmer in this last waltz
Knowing full well the end is near
But take joy with this end
For another beginning is the common trend

If life is so beautiful to-wards the end
And life starts over again and again
Then my life will begin anew
For the beauty I experienced was with you

Leaves are falling the time is near
Trees becoming stark as winter whispers
Quietly coming but dreading its wrath
My life barren emulating the terrain

Trees as stick figures fighting the cold
Stripped of everything painful when old
Needing a new beginning praying for help
Losing my friends my faith is in doubt

Will I survive this brutal cold
Will I live till I become old
Will my chance at what I desire
Become reality something to admire

Silver lining is always there
Can my faith instill this
Will my chance at love react
Praying for deliverance

God bless us all as life goes on
My life is tragic ask anyone
I pray for those that need it most
But loving myself is the hardest part

I am close to God for that is my choice
This cannot be lost by some others voice
You loved me then, will you love me now
I can’t force it but desire it anyhow
