Crimson

My crimson liquid,
flows so freely,
escaping my veins,
like it should be.
look at these cuts,
and see these scars.
You don't understand,
I tried so hard
and as my eyes shut,
life was so grand.
for once in my dreams,
I stopped my hand.
My dreams are seized,
how can it be?
I stop and think,
and now I see,
It's always been you.
Take these pills with my drink,
or pull the trigger and shoot?
Your words were the end of me.
