Mask Induced Friends

by EpithetPoet   Mar 9, 2005

The person you see before you
Is not what she seems to be
Not a social fun-loving girl
But one who loves to be alone in misery

This facade she puts on
This mask, ingenious disguise
Slowly turning her into what she hates
Something that's all lies

She hates all the bulls**t
The shallow bubble blowing ditz
Her mask is too tight
And no longer perfectly fits

Imprinted on her face
The permanent tattoo
Left abandoned the memory
Of what was once true
