Do you know what I'm holding in?
I really wanna tell you but I'm afraid of what it will begin.

Do you know that I cry at night?
I try and hold back the tears but I can't pretend I'm alright.

Do you know about the person I am and the person I wanna be?
There's a lot hiding behind my smile that nobody will ever see.

Do you know that I walk away from things when they get hard? I guess it just makes me feel better even though it leaves me forever scared.

Do you know about the cuts upon my wrist?
I didn't agree with my life so I gave it a little twist.

Do you know about the people that I have that have never let me fall?
And without them in my life I'd be nothing at all?

Now you know me...but there's a lot I just don't show and trust me just looking at my smile you'd never even know....
