Cherish the moment

by Dead As Yesterday   Mar 11, 2005

Dreams of all things that I’ve yet to know
With farmers patience these seeds I sow
From all that was and for all that’s to be
How deep is the love one day we may see

Yesterday has crumbled tomorrow is today
Just follow your heart let love lead the way
so we reach for the stars and swallow the sun
Cherish the moment when our time has come

The shadows have fallen given into the light
We discover each other and know that it’s right
Mother earth will shiver and trumpets will sound
For a moment so pure so deep and profound

Just so you're perfectly aware I'll be harassing your poems from now on... Your poems are binding... The meter is perfect, the word choice and rhyme is exquisite...wow I'm blown away... It seems I've got reading to do ~ keep writing, for all our sakes ~

This stanza is one of the best I've ever read! Don't get me wrong, the entire piece is pure literary brilliance, but I am in love with this stanza! Great job as always, I look forward to reading more~Holly
