Confusion

Dreaming up dreams, while choking on life
Pleading for peace, while I'm using this knife
Asking for help, while I run away
Screaming to leave, while I'm begging to stay
Wishing for freedom while chaining myself
Saying I'm worthless, while I wish for wealth
Saying I'm smothered while I'm all alone
Saying it's nothing; while wishing it known
Acting as found but I'm just so lost
Screaming it's worthless while it builds up cost
Telling you lies when the truth has been asked
Still trying to hide, while I lie unmasked
Running for cover, while I hope you follow
Wishing them gone these pills that I swallow
Hoping to die while I'm praying to live
Standing up tall while my knees wanna give
Climbing the mountain while digging my grave
So glad I'm lost while I wish I was saved
Silently dying while I wanna scream
Woke up & sweating, it's all just a dream
