Dark Shadows

by FailureToSmile   Mar 14, 2005

Covered in dark shadows of my past, that small corner still haunts my memory. Crying in it for hours, only to be wishing my suicidal dreams would become a reality. Even though, years have past since we've been together, I know that it wasn't the time for our light to die. Our love was stronger than a happily ever after you only read in story books. You never cared that I had brown eyes, but rather told me they were like distance mountains set ablaze. I never cared about the scars on your face, rather I told you your face was as warn as a summer night's sky. Now as I still sit scared in that corner, them dark shadows still condemn my heart.
