Adopted siblings

by Amanda   Mar 14, 2005

I wanted to search for my siblings today,
hurt me so badly i threw the idea away,
They were adopted when they were small,
I want them to know i exist, that is all,

can't bring myself to do it now or never,
being rejected would hurt more than ever,
maybe they'll find me i can only hope,
but if they don't i will surely cope,

They are ten or eleven years older than me,
that's why we've never even met you see,
even though We've gone our separate ways,
We'll all be a part of each other always,

does it matter if we don't meet each other,
cos they'll always be my sister and brother.

This is not that good but i needed to get it out of my system and i was so upset cos i have never met my half brother and sister and the thought that it might never happen hurts so much. Any comments would be appreciated thank you :)

That's sweet and I think that you should look for them...I think that it will hurt more not knowing. At least if you did meet and they turned their backs on you, you would have tried and then you could live knowing you did everything you could. I have two half brothers and as young teenager I said I hated them and never wanted to meet them because they had my father and I didn't. But I met them when I was 15 and I always ask for updates on school and sports and everything they do. Trust me the didn't like the fact that I existed either. But you get over that.....Look for them....Just TRY.....Sorry for rambling....nice write....
