Wishes

I wish i may i wish i might have this wish i wish tonight.
i wish i could have him here holding me tight, every night.
these are the words on repeat every night. hoping someday things will turn out right.

i wish i may i wish i might have this wish i wish tonight.
i wish that he would return home at night.
these are the words i repeat every night hoping that someday things will turn out right.

i wish i may i wish i might have this wish i wish tonight.
i wish our new baby wouldn't cry all through the night.
these are the words i repeat every night, hoping that someday things will turn out right.

i wish i may i wish i might have this wish i wish tonight.
i wish the cancer signs i have wouldn't be right.
these are the words i repeat every night hoping that one day things will turn out right.

i wish i may i wish i might have this wish i wish tonight.
i wish i had someone here to hold me tight. these are the words i repeated all night, until suddenly i felt them alright.
my whole family knew i was in pain, they all came to see me and help me through the rain.

i wish i may i wish i might have this wish i wish tonight
i wish my family would know that i love them, before i have to go tonight.
these are the words i repeated over and over on my last night.
