Set Free...

by Shaina Ahenger   Mar 19, 2005

She is calm.
She is quiet.
She's as steady as a tree.
Something seems wrong,
But she only knows.
Someone needs to be freed.
Their trapped beneath,
Tangled in fears.
Caught up in worries,
Drowning in tears.
She remains cordial,
As she opens their wings.
She sets them free to glide,
Above wondrous things.
Not knowing that it's really her,
That used to be buried deep.
She found her heart and let it loose,
She did not mean to, but it took the leap.
Her walls fell to dust,
As a smile brightened her eyes.
She is free to love again,
To love someone everlasting,
Before she dies.
