Of Us

by Brad Champagne   Mar 21, 2005

Sitting, watching the weary world
Consumed by power and greed,
A few the banner of love unfurled
In this time of need.

While most the battle choose ignore,
Still some have joined the fight
Of good verse evil, as in lore,
With all their hearts and might.

Demons lurk and devils cry
And take their pray enmass,
Whilst in wait for them some lie
In God's armour of steel and brass.

So in this time of global war,
Don your plate and sword,
And thus prepare, as those before,
To fight in the name of the Lord.

On the front line we now stand
And await the rushing throng,
But to the strength of God they'll bow
If we can only fight on.
