Lost

Hi, this is the first poem I have submitted onto anything, just thought I'd see how it goes.

Dancing in a pool of love
I’m lost in your eyes
Huge black, star filled night
Wow, this feels so rite!

One month later I’m in a dream!
We’re getting married!
I can imagine our day will be the best ever!
I know I will carry on loving you forever

Five years later
You’re not here
Five years later, you disappeared
All that’s left is tangled fear

I can’t believe it took your life
You were only 22
I’ll cry each second of the day
I’m so lost without you.
