Siren's song

by Lost Girl   Mar 23, 2005

I followed that music,
As it lead into the sea,
I went out so far,
That the shore was out of reach,

I followed that music,
Right into the deep,
It showed me all the reasons,
Why these people weep,

I followed that music,
Across the ocean floor,
So far below the surface,
That I could see no more,

I followed that music,
So much further down,
I held my breath so tightly,
Yet still I didn’t drown,

I followed that music,
Back into my dreams,
And there I found out,
It was just the Siren’s screams…
