Imagine

by jescelle   Mar 24, 2005

Imagine your life for a moment,
it flashes before your eyes.
imagine your soul for a moment,
just watching the way it flies.

imagine you took too much medicine,
and your parents cast you away.
imagine your grief for a moment,
in where you had to stay.

imagine you were therefor too long,
like some of the girls in here.
imagine only feeling human flesh,
a few times out of a year.

imagine the tears that would fall,
into your precious hands,
if they came and took you away,
to some far and distant land.

imagine what you'd remember,
the sights the tastes the smells.
i could say that you'd rot in here,
if you had to come to hell.

but I'm far too strong to rot,
i would die first.
i would die of hunger,
i would die of thirst.

imagine the doctors questions,
all that they would ask.
imagine your sorrowful face,
as moms tears would last.

imagine your life for a moment,
it flashes before your eyes,
imagine your soul for a moment,
just watching the way it dies.

imagine you took too much medicine,
and your parents cast you away.
imagine your grief for a moment,
in where you had to stay...

i wrote this the first day i went to a program for problem kids, which was the day after i tried to kill myself last week.
