I wanna be free

by Black~Rose   Mar 25, 2005

I wanna be careless as a flower
Loose as powder in the wind
I wanna be as bright as the summer sun
You told me that I'll never have freedom because I'm owned by you
You say No woman of mine will be free
I'm not a woman
I'm a teenage girl
I can't leave you're control
I've tried running away
But you always came my way
Another bruise appears
One more mark to add
The third black eye I've had this month
I will die just to have freedom
To be able to walk outside and smell the flowers and feel the grass
One day Gary, I will be free from your slavery, whips and chains
I wanna be careless as a flower
Loose as powder in the wind
I wanna be as bright as the summer sun

this is good, as is any poem that makes you read until the end. i hope you arent writing from experience though. nice to see a teenage girl that is in no hurry to be thought of as a woman, is just happy being a girl :-)
