The strangers kiss

The young woman sat alone with her knife
pondering the best way to end her life
how did it all end like this?
to think it all started with a strangers kiss.

she had fallen deep in love
she thought he had been sent from up above.
but then his facade fell
and she saw the truth the creature from hell.

she tried to run to get away
but he forced her to stay.
he did not know she was to have his son
perhaps if he did what came next might not have done.

we are truly meant to Be she thought sure
our love is truly deep and pure
but all her friends did despise
that she could not simply open her eyes.

by now she was way to scared
but still convinced that he cared.
and so she stayed
from her husband she would not be strayed.

that is until it cost her dearly
her punishment for not thinking clearly.
her baby boy was not to be born
ignited in her heart hatred and scorn.

now she ends with her knife
the only thing she has left:her life
it has now ended just like this
all started with a strangers kiss.
