This little girl

by Just Lisa   Mar 27, 2005

This little girl before you,
This little girl you see,
This little girl seemed happy,
Because that's what everyone could see.

She lived at home with her parents,
And she would always have her own space.
But there would always be something missing,
And you could tell by the look on her face.

This little girl would always go her own way and she'd never be involved,
And it became a big problem which was impossible to be solved.
She lived in her own little world and it was just too late,
Isolation had become an obsession and she would never be able to communicate.

You see she suffered a disease that she couldn't seem to fight,
And it grew stronger each and every day.
So she would secretly be wishing and praying at night,
Hoping that everything could just be okay.

The good days, she would never really see,
Because she was always broken inside, she was never really happy.
She would always wear a frown and she would hardly ever smile,
Except with her friends, they'd make her laugh every once and a while.

This little girl was in her young teen age,
And with her life she would continue to wage.
But this little girl couldn't hold on much longer,
Because her strength grew short, her hate grew stronger.

This little girl saw what other people would see,
She saw others looking back at her not knowing the person she wanted to be.
Because no one understood, and no one really knew,
They never knew about her life and what she was going through.

You see she wanted to be a poet because she had allot to say,
She would write about her life and the way she felt that day.
But this little girl had no fate and she could never figure it out,
Why she never believed, and why her dreams were always filled with dought.

Her friends would always tell her she was special but she never really knew,
She never knew how loved she was and she just never had a clue.
People would always tell her that she was gifted in a very special way,
And that no matter what, they would always love her and that everything was going to be okay.

This little girl had realized that even if sometimes things got bad,
She should still move on, even if she always got mad.
You see she changed that day and she had finally opened her eyes,
And from the words she was told it made her see, it helped her realize.

You see I had no idea, maybe I had just forgot,
That even if my life was never perfect I should always keep my fate.
And that's what I had learned, that's what I was taught,
Because nothings ever impossible, because it's never too late.

** This poem is about a little girl who had allot of problems in her life.....But I realized it's never too late!!! Please Comment and vote because it means the world!!! Thanks!!!
