So what if I'm different?

by Lil Luce   Mar 27, 2005

***all comments would be appreciated!!! thanks***

So I don't fit into the popular crowd,
and my hair is always a mess.
But who's to say I shouldn't be allowed,
to be myself without anyone to impress?

So my fashion sense is 'so last week',
and my nails are battered and chewed.
Who cares?I'm the one who's being unique,
you're the ones that are being prude.

So I forever look like I've rolled out of bed,
and my lip gloss is nowhere to be seen.
Why don't you try a plate of chips instead,
of your usual runner bean?

So this is out to all of you,
who'd rather be an individual.
So forget about you next shampoo,
please stop being so artificial!!!

What a great message!! Ok I never fit in to the "popular" crowd either but I WASHED MY HAIR!! lol I really think the message in this poem is awesome! Some kids take stuff like that so hard. They want to be cool and hang out with the "cool" guys and it ruins them.....Very nice write!! 5/5
