Because of You

by Celia   Mar 28, 2005

Lying in my bed, looking at my red curtains sway up and down.
I can feel the wind wrap around me, chilling me just the same way you did.
It reminds me of your stillness and silence. As a single tear drop falls I turn away trying not to think about you.
The wind is telling me to do it. But I can't seem to bring myself to do it. I think of all the good reasons not to do it. But I can't think of any.
I get off my warm bed and onto the cold floor. My heart is beating rapidly as I grab the knife.
In the mist of the rain I see your face looking deep in my eyes and
I smile and say because of you.
